Michael O'Hara

Michael Joseph O'Hara is a New Jersey native, born in Vineland and educated at Rutgers University. He is the author of the books The Fine Art of Selling Out and The Year with No Holidays and has recently been published in the Apiary Literary Magazine and won the Philadelphia “Literary Death Match.”  His working class upbringing and lifetime of daydreaming during factory jobs informs his poetry and he boasts a set of life experiences ranging from the mundane to the surreal. Michael currently coaches Spoken Word artists and gives performance and writing workshops in the Philadelphia area while maintaining a full time career as an Engineer.
