Emari DiGiorgio

Emari DiGiorgio is Associate Professor of Writing at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and a NJ State Poet-in-the-Schools. In 2012, she received a Governor’s Award in Arts Education and was named a Distinguished Teaching Artist. Recent poems have appeared in Calyx, DIAGRAM, and Poetry International. Her poetry manuscript Bullets in Honey has been a finalist for the Crab Orchard Series in Poetry First Book Award and Open Series Competition, the Tupelo Press First Book Award, and the Perugia Press Prize for a first/second book of poetry by a woman. She makes a mean arugula quesadilla and has split-boarded the Tasman Glacier.
