Tung-Hui Hu is the author of three collections of poetry, The Book of Motion (2003), Mine (2007), and Greenhouses, Lighthouses (2013). His poems have appeared in places such as Boston ReviewThe New RepublicPloughshares, and Gastronomica; the SoundWalk festival of sound art in Long Beach, CA; and the forthcoming anthology Family Resemblance: An Anthology and Exploration of 8 Hybrid Literary Genres. A former faculty member at the Kundiman retreat for Asian American poets, Hu has been awarded fellowships from Yaddo, the MacDowell Colony, and the University of Mississippi, where he was a Summer Poet-in-Residence. He holds a PhD from UC Berkeley in film studies, and currently teaches Creative Writing and Digital Media at the University of Michigan, where he is an assistant professor of English.
