Festival 2022: Tickets FAQ
Are tickets on sale now?
Yes! Single day as well as discounted Weekend Passes and Four Day Passes are on sale as are tickets for Seniors, Teachers and Students with ID.
Are there assigned seats, or is everything general admission?
All tickets are general admission, and seating is first come first served.
If you are a Festival Coordinator for a high school student group, please note that your student group(s) will receive a personalized schedule for High School Student Day (you will be assigned a location for each session, but not assigned seats).
When will I get my tickets?
Tickets purchased online are processed through Ticketmaster.
When purchasing Four-Day Passes and Weekend Passes online, you are given the option at check-out to pick up your ticket at the “will call” table in the NJPAC rotunda on your first day at the Festival, or your ticket can be mailed to you if purchased by October 10. There is a $2.25 fee for mailing. Tickets purchased online after October 10 must be claimed at the will call table.
If you purchase a Single Day Pass or Passes online you are given the option at check-out to have your ticket sent to your phone as a mobile QR code or the option to print your ticket at home using your computer and printer. Prior to October 10 your ticket(s) can be mailed to you for a $2.25 mailing fee. You may also elect to pick up your ticket at the will call table in the NJPAC rotunda upon your arrival at the Festival.
Do I have to purchase my tickets online in advance of the Festival?
Not at all. Show up on Thursday to purchase a Four-Day Pass, Saturday for a Weekend Pass or any day Thursday through Sunday for a single day admission. Our multiple venues, including the 2800+ seat Prudential Hall at NJPAC, provide plenty of seating options.
What do I get for my ticket?
Upon picking up your ticket(s) at NJPAC or displaying your printed ticket or QR code you will be given a laminate badge and lanyard providing you with access to Festival events.
What does a Festival ticket give me access to?
The real question is, what doesn't it?
Your Festival ticket gives you access to:
-
Poetry readings, performances, panel discussions, Q&As and musical collaborations at any of the locations where we have Festival stages
-
Open mic readings where you can share your own work if you wish to
-
Book signings with Festival Poets
