Dodge Poetry Festival COVID-19 Policy
The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation and our various Dodge Poetry Festival venues in downtown Newark commit to following the best COVID-19 safe event protocols to protect the health and safety of attendees, staff, volunteers and presenters at the 2022 Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festival. The Festival will follow all protocols mandated by the City of Newark, and take any additional precautions requested by our partners or recommended by the CDC and the State of New Jersey for public gatherings.
Protocols as of October 2022 will require all Festival goers ages 5 and up to wear facemasks at all times when indoors (please note that the Festival is not recommended for youngsters).
These policies and protocols may change without notice and will be updated when there are adjustments to protocols.
Please check back the week of the Dodge Poetry Festival to confirm the policies and protocols in place at that time.
In the event the in-person Festival is canceled because of the pandemic, tickets purchased directly through the ticketing links on this website will be refunded in full, including all fees, if requested.
Dodge Poetry Festival attendees who choose not to follow the rules and protocols in any of the Festival venues will be asked to leave without a ticket refund.
