As Poetry Program and Online Engagement Coordinator, Victoria Russell (she/her/hers) manages the Dodge Poetry website, email marketing, social media, and virtual programming, and created and facilitates the annual online “At Home with Poems” program. Victoria also coordinates High School Student Day and Teacher Day at the Festival, as well as several other Festival, schools, and community programming initiatives and activities.
Through her work with Dodge Poetry over the years, Victoria has gotten to know many poets, teachers, students, and poetry lovers, and she enjoys supporting their engagement with poetry and collaborating with her colleagues and partners to create thoughtful, compassionate, and inspiring programming.
Victoria graduated summa cum laude from Drew University with honors in English and Creative Writing. A selection from her honors thesis was awarded an Honorable Mention by the New Jersey Women’s and Gender Studies Consortium, and her essay “Garden State” was published in the anthology Eat Pray Love Made Me Do It (Riverhead Books, 2016). She has been a featured poet in several programs from Arts by the People and Montclair State University’s Live Lit series. Victoria is an experienced podcast host, producer, and editor with a specialty in producing shows about mental health, spirituality, and creativity.
