JAMES RICHARDSON

James Richardson received the 2011 Jackson Poetry Prize.  His most recent book is By the Numbers:  Poems and Aphorisms, which was a Publishers Weekly "Best Book of 2010" and a finalist for the National Book Award. He is also the author of Interglacial: New and Selected Poems and Aphorisms, which was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award, Vectors: Aphorisms and Ten-Second Essays, How Things Are, A Suite for Lucretians, As If, Second Guesses, Reservations, and two critical studies: Thomas Hardy:  The Poetry of Necessity and Vanishing Lives:  Style and Self in Tennyson, D.
