Festival 2006
In 2006, the Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festival celebrated its 20th anniversary at its original home, Waterloo Village, Stanhope, NJ. Over 17,500 people returned to the historic Village for the 11th Biennial Festival, held Sept. 28 - Oct. 1. The 2006 Festival featured an array of national and international poets including Lucille Clifton, Taha Muhammad Ali, Kurtis Lamkin, and Anne Waldman along with readings by over fifty other poets and performances by storytellers and musicians.
